This is the austerely elegant catalogue published in conjunction with a 1991 touring exhibition of preparatory works and various states of Jasper Johns' series of graphic works, "The Seasons". The cover was created by the artist especially for this publication, missing the frontispiece executed by Johns and printed by U.L.A.E; else a bright white, most handsome copy. Many color plates, missing frontispiece by Johns. 11½x8½, French flaps soft color wrappers fold out to reveal a four paneled illustration created specially by Jasper Johns for this publication, often separately framed.
